Nicola Dal Canto
After a stint in international real estate when he lived in London, in 2014 Nicola decided to give it all up and buy a 1970s sailing boat to refit, which he will use to sail with his partner between Tuscany, Corsica and Sardinia.
Fascinated by this world he decides to make it his job and thanks to the experience gained and after obtaining the Oceanic Yachtmaster certification he works several years as a captain on luxury sailing yachts. With more than 25,000 miles accumulated mainly in the Mediterranean Sea, North Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea he is considered an expert in coastal and offshore navigation with a particular focus on safety and emergency management at sea.
He currently works as a project manager and naval surveyor at Oceanfit Sailing srl and Red Rose Marine ltd
Stefano Cioni
Stefano is considered a true institution of European sailing, after an experience in the banking sector he decides to follow his passion for the sea which allows him to accumulate various experiences in command of luxury sailing yachts, transfers and ocean crossings, chief instructor of the VMB Yachts training center since 2013, instructor at the “Clipper round the world race” by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston since 2016 in 2016 together with Roberto Gatto he founded Red Rose Marine ltd with which he obtained the authorizations to represent the English maritime register. In 2019 he obtained the diploma in Small craft and yacht surveying at the University of Portsmouth and was appointed by the European community as an expert in the blue economy and yachting and yachting. Stefano is currently based in England but travels mainly between Italy, Spain and France, holds the role of CEO, surveyor and project manager at Red Rose Marine ltd, founded Oceanfit Sailing srl and continues to manage the famous Rya training center in Viareggio Vmb yachts.
Robert Gatto
Experienced captain with proven experience in navigation and crew management. Has a deep knowledge of seamanship and safety protocols. Roberto is one of the founders of Red Rose Marine ltd, currently holds the role of RYA Instructor at Vmb Yacht Viareggio and Naval Surveyor registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Livorno. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams ensuring safe and enjoyable sailing experiences.
